Hi, everyone! My name is Zlaja (Golden Boy), and I’m one of the long-time residents of the shelter. I was born here. Here’s my story: My mom and her litter were caught by dog catchers. It was scary, but then Vedran came and saved them, taking them to safety. What no one knew back then was that my mom was pregnant, with 12 puppies! I was one of those babies. We grew up safe, happy, and loved here in the refuge. One day, some kind people came and adopted two of my siblings. I was so happy for them! I heard they went to warm homes with soft beds and toys and people who adore them. Ever since that day, I’ve been dreaming of my turn, dreaming that one day, my person will come and take me to my forever home. Maybe you’re the one I’ve been waiting for.
